Covid Vaccine Update

A big thank you to our patient who delivered two large bags filled with Easter eggs for our staff – these will certainly go down a treat. We would also like to thank our patients for the lovely cards and other goodies that we have received this year as we continue to battle and fight the Covid-19 virus together. It has been a horrendous year; and whilst the national vaccination programme has generally been a success, logistically it has been a challenge within the practice – sometimes with last-minute, or very limited, numbers of vaccines and some weeks where we have had no deliveries at all. Since we commenced the vaccine programme on 15th January 2021 we have vaccinated over 40% of eligible patients with their first dose.
Currently we have started calling patients aged 50+ years to book an appointment for their vaccine: please call the surgery and book-in if you would like the vaccine.
